Depends

When adding 'ise'/'ize' to the end of words both are correct English usage (going back a long way, to quote the OED on my desk, "the form -ize has been in use in English since the 16th Century; it is widely used in American English, but is not an Americanism"). That said, there are some words (such as analyse) which have a variant American with a 'z'.

I always use 'ise' for consistency.
