Some high spots in season 7 but I agree it got much worse
after Sorkin left at the end of series 4. I have always thought that this was becuase Sorkin offered a left of centre view of a successful if flawed president defying the odds in the first few seasons, while in season 5 the Bartlett administration lost its way and lost a lot of battles, so liberals felt let down. The pick up towards the end had a couple of centrists being nice, bringing back the warm feelings.
