if we had sold a couple of the better players we would have had funds to bring more players in, keeping the squad numbers up. It isn't simply a case of simply losing the players we have lost rather then the "stars", its the overall picture. What people are worried about at the moment is that we have had far more exits than entries, which leaves us very thin. Yes, our first choice XI is great but if we get a coupel of injuries... We currently have no right sided midfielder, only 3 central midfielders (the most important position on the pitch) and only 1 RB. This is going to eb a long season and there is now a transfer window in the Fizzy Pop - if you have a thin squad and suffer injuries you can't get loans in any more to provide temporary cover. You are now stuffed. I still believe we will get mor players in but it is almost certainly the case that if we don't we will not get auto promotion this season (unless we are VERY VERY lucky)
