O2 gave me a gree 1Gb memory card with all the maps preloaded (UK only).
However, you can download them yourself (worldwide) for free, if you get the Nokia Map Loader software User Posted Link
If you phone is running version 11.suffen of the firmware I would strongly recommend an upgrade to version 12.suffen (there is only one v12) as that come with gps-a (Assisted GPS - the phone also uses contact with mobile network base station to assist the gps in determining location).
Your network might not have sanctioned v12 of the firmware yet, mine hadn't, but you can change an internal code in the phone (with some other software I can't remember the name of) and then update to v12 just fine. It will invalidate your warranty though.
I can search out links and that if you're bothered.
After updating the firmware the navigation stuff is actually really good. I was disappointed with it until I had done that.
