This Song For City thing...
Load of old s**t really...
But, I'm pretty sure the original T&Cs said that the 6 songs with the most votes would be put into a shortlist for final voting rather than:
"5. On Friday 24 August, representatives of the club and the radio station will consider all the suggestions and produce a shortlist of 6 songs they think would best perform the function and best represent the club’s objectives."
I know the Yarmouth Yellows and BDC were pushing for David Essex's - Hold Me Close, which would have been original and excellent. It's often heard at away games and was very popular on the Holland tour.
Is this just a cynical tie-in with Radio Broadland, or do the majority of Norwich fans really have s**t taste in music apart from Kasabian and The Ramones?
