Central defenders, a pressing need?
Last nights reserve match was the first time I had seen Spillane and Halliday play together. First impression was that they read each others game and certainly tied down a lively but ineffective pair of strikers. If Grant is planning to loan them out it should be as a pair as they could be the future. Also thought Martin behind the front two seemed his most comfortable position, big enough and "ugly" enough to get stuck in but always threatening a goal. Shades of early Chris Sutton.
