His results back end of last season were a bit suspect

The Everton result didn't surprise me, because they did finish above them last season. I thought that was more Spurs failing than Everton achieving though

Some games they'd be absolutley cruising and would then fall to bits. Braga away last season they were 2-0 and by the 90th minute they'd suddenly thrown it away for a 2-2 draw, until Keane sneaked in and spared them the embarrassment

I know Chelsea are good but I thought when they were 3-1 up against them and Kalou sneaked in the last minutes to score, I thought that was another looked like they'd committed suicide more than the other team had got back into it

Wasn't impressed when Arsenal could take a weakened squad home and away in the league cup and still turn over their rivals

I think the general moans about Jol is how he isn't learning to either kill games off or win games they draw more than often. That would maybe explain why they didn't repeat the season they finished 5th last season, and look to have started this season the same way, whilst spending, and having a lot of very capable players
