Spelling, grammar, maths, logic and abstact thinking...
...how to form an argument, how to approach solving a problem, and how to write whitepapers. How to deal socially with people of many different backgrounds.
Most importantly, school prepares you for university, and enables you to analyse information which will allow you to continue learning for the rest of your life.
I agree the specifics I do were not learned at school, but the foundations of everything I do were.
An education also helps you in general. Sometimes even men could do with an alternative to talking about football, telly beer and tits.
Not often, granted.
