As someone who posted Tues line up on Mon afternoon.....
I went to the training ground on Monday morning and was surprised by just how obvious it was, some 30 hours before the match, what the starting line up was to be.
Admitedly, no set plays, free kicks etc. were practised - I guess that was done on Tues morning.
I wonder just how often the team is picked on the match day? We often used to be told of players finding out the lineup when they got to the ground for the game - I guess this is a thing of the past - injuries aside.
I fully support the decision to have key sessions 'behind closed doors' and have to say I was surprised that this wasn't already the case. You only needed to send a scout to Colney on a Friday morning and you could completely second guess any Norwich move or tactic.
