how could we have bought players early? Having played Holt instead of Safro week in week out, & having dismissed 3-time promotion winner Mark Edworthy, Worthington was on a well-deserved holiday (though not with his mate Iain Dowie, apparently). Poor bloke was probably shagged out afrer all that work he put in motivating Damo.
