short of the halfway line, stood with only the centre backs by his side, so I'm guessing he's hanging back whilst either full backs get forward, or is covering for edwards and richardson.

Yorke is doing the same job, but is going forward too. I think they both work well toghether. Nosworthy has developed into a solid full back, another bright spot in that side
