But would you have expected the crowd at Carrow Road to sit placidly by, whilst a player, with masses of energy, but who was not up to job ability wise, played every week in a crucial area of the pitch. No I don't either.

Yes, he was selected by his manager and did his best, but his best was nowhere near good enough.
