I laughed when they went down. I smiled at the 15-pount deduction. My mouth turned up slightly at one corner when the appeal was rejected. But signing Hughes? Wow, that's rough.
Actually he may be better in league 1. His appalling lack of any footballing nous won't show up so badly there and, who knows, he might actually learn to play in that division.
