What? he's not the greatest player to ever wear a shirt

but he's definately not the worst. And I prefer his type than the usual stop-gap players that have been in and out over the last few years. You can say all you like about their talent, but it hasn't made that much of an impact on our position other than the fact that we're still a championship side at least. Hughes might fit snugly into this year's better, more team-focused squad than last year's collection of shop window performers.
