I don't think we ever had any money to spend this year

The board never said anything about Worthy having money to spend but instead said he can spend what he makes.

It was also said at the time we signed Ashton that money had been moved from this years budget to fund the deal.

Our club are still skint and it would be stupid to start spending recklessly now.
