the degredation in quality isn't a particular issue tbh
but i'd need them in mp3 so i can burn onto disc to listen to in the car
(though having just listened to the m4as that i've bit-torrented i'm that impressed i'm probably going to invest in the cd, LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver if anyone's interested)
