Literature coming out of Norwich
More and more these days innit ?
For years the only local author I knew was Rose Tremain (I was in the same form as her daughter Eleanor for 4 years), but they seem to be churning them out of the UEA lately and I keep reading on the back of the book that authors graduated from the Creative Writing course there.
Just got me thinking about it as coincidentally the last two books I've read were Walking Ollie by Stephen Foster and van Rijn by Sarah Emily Miano - both graduates of the UEA (and the first book set in Norwich).
Jolly well done, Norwich. You can tell it's a slow day today.
