You used to be able to bet on the time of the first throw in.(cant do it now as its too easy to rig)
He took a low spread at ?1 a second. The ball went out for a throw pretty early on so he was in the money. However the time they use is when the ball actually comes back into play.
The player threw the ball in, but for some reason the ref blew and made him take it again. Someone in the crowd was so pissed off that he threw the half eaten pasty he had in his hand at the ref, hitting him in the.
It took about ten minutes for the ref to sort himself out, all the time my mates spread was costing him ?60 a minute.
I laughed my cock off when he told me.
