"Norwich City are chasing experienced former Newcastle United left-sided central defender Kevin Scott. Canaries boss Peter Grant expects to tie up the loose ends before the end of this week and hopes to parade the new signing in front of the Carrow Road faithful at fridays friendly match against Vitesse Arnhem.

Scott, 43, said he is excited about a return to Carrow Road: "I have unfinished business here, as I feel my game has improved and I am now much stronger. With the squad we have here, we should be competeing in the top 6 of the division".
