ntl changed merged (took over) Virgin mobile

but because ntl have such a s**te customer service reputation they dropped the name in favour of Virgin.

the customer service hasn't improved any and yes is the answer to your question

however, setanta is available on all digital television services (sky, bt, cable and freeview if your box is capable)
