I think it is more to do with the arrival of Duffy tbh...
I mean, looking at it from Hunter's point of view, he came in as a defo No. 2 with (I guess) visions of becoming a No. 1 - hence the unsuccessfulk job application in Worthy's wake. All of a sudden, Grant's in, Duffy's in, Gunn's in - the Tartan Army are in - and Hunter is pretty much the No. 3 all of a sudden. Career path stuff.
At least I hope that is what it is - I still have 100% faith in Grant. The honesty and determination is superb - as is the acceptance that he doesnt know it all from day 1.
