Yes.

Much more chance of success with this one in my opinion, as

1) his subscription now allows people to write their own content, and to contribute to the main content;
2) It's obviously set up to be able to expand to other clubs as well.

You're never going to make money these days on a site which cannot rapidly expand so he's taken care of the issue that he was restricted to NCFC fans as his only customer base. He has also reduced the price significantly.

People don't pay for content. At least very rarely. What they do pay for is interactivity. These days many people also fancy themselves as journalists and fancy their shot at seeing their name (and articles) "in lights" - those are the people who will be paying.

This is the model you need in Web 2.0 - making money from those who are actually creating the content for you as well! And while it is still only Norwich, it's set up to expand and is perfectly capable of expanding beyond even the Premiership.

And, yes, for once, I am giving an opinion based on something I know about :-)
