wasn't that big an achievement

he took over only about a month into the season when teh gap between top and bottom isn't much (it was nothing like Dowie's achievement at Palace the year we went up). And (unlike Dowie) he spent loads of money by Championship standard. You can make useless managers like Keegan and Bruce look good if youi give them more money than everyone else.

I'm not saying Keane is a bad manager, but he hasn't proved anything yet. He has just done the easy bit.
