Sunderland made the bid of £ 1.5 m ( exact amount of Etuhooves buy out ) on Saturday evening - however He had already turned down an improved contract offered by NCFC

If he has not had his head turned , why would he even been offered an improved contract - specially as the parachute payments have ended and finance is now a big issue

So If we are offering a contract improvemnet to a player who wishes to leave - it does make you wonder why - or even if we did
