So some on here think it's 'god business' to sell Etuhu & Saf?
Well for me it's a bit like wanting to keep Hughes because of all the effort he puts in. If you bury your heads and accept players like Hughes and the selling of Saf and Etuhu then you're settling for a very mediocre mid-table (at best) Championship team and at worst relegation. Saf has been one of our best players over the last few seasons and Etuhu has shown that he has the skill to compete at the highest level if he's surrounded by decent players and not the dross employed by NW. Serious questions need to be asked about the ambition of the Board (both in supporting NW in the Premiership) and now with PG. And to all those who think it's 'good business', two questions. 1. Who are you going to purchase as replacements (and remember it's close to the start of the season and other teams will know we're desperate)? 2. Robert Chase ran a business and although there obviously has to be financial prudency, NCFC is a football club not a financial institution. Look what investment can do for a club. Imagine Ashton had signed at the start of our Premiership season and not in January, we may well have survived and still be enjoying the proceeds.
