Well unfortunately....
...that's a condition Worthy would have been aware of when recommending the purchase, so Grant is merely having to cope with the part of his job every manager has to deal with - clearing up the mess made by your predecessor.
No point throwing your toys out of your pram. As soon as you come in you should take stock of all those contractual details, anticipate based on each player's happiness and stock and create contingency plans to solve the potential issues you have identified if and when they arise.
Basic rule and core competency of management. Don't McBlub about it.
