Shopping on a budget in the lower leagues and abroad is like one of those antiques program
mmes on telly where people hunt for bargains at car boot sales and try to make money on the turn.
"Jeremy and Susan have found this old Toby Jug for £50 in the boot of a Volvo ... is it valuable Staffordshire or worthless tat? Let's find out!"
Semi, Dave Striker, The French Rabbit, Fozzy, Le Juge ... will they be sending the bidders wild, or will we turn out not to have such a great eye for a bargain?
Just like these programmes, if you buy something with a known pedigree (eg Cureton), you always have to pay handsomely for it.
