is he worth the risk

Koumas goes AWOL Fortune Favour's WBA - 100th post - 14 Jul 2005 12:51
WBAzone . com understands Jason Koumas has been given an ultimatum by West Bromwich Albion, return to pre-season, or face having his contract terminated !
It is reported the Welsh midfielder simply failed to report for two Albion friendly matches over the last week, a decision which is thought to have cost him ?40,000 in club fines, the maximum two week wage's fine available to the club.

The player has now been ordered to return to training at Albion for crisis talks, or the club could move to terminate his contract should he remain AWOL.

The latest news, on top of Albion's unhappiness with the player's general attitude over a long period appears to be the final nail in Koumas' Albion Career.

Albion are now thought desperate to offload the player and his high salary from their books, as he is clearly becoming a disruptive influence around the Hawthorns
