well...

it was cooked on a campfire on safari in Namibia and I did have to eat it without cutlery (i.e. holding it in my hands and ripping bits off with my teeth, which wasn't easy 'cos it was slightly tough) so it wasn't as far away from the hyena approach as it might have been.

PS Good job I proof-read this post - I originally wrote "on safri in Namibia", which has rather different implications...
