When he arrived I thought he was the answer to our prayers. But he seemed to go off the boil and started either to run up blind alleys or deliver pooooooooooooor crosses. I thought. But as I'm always admitting, I don't have a hoooge degree of football knowledge. Though I do know enough to know that if you cross the ball either (a) behind the goal line or (b) straight to the full back's feet or (c) out for a throw in on the other side, it's not a good cross.
