the A428 is closed (that's the road linking the a14 at cambridge with the a1 at st neots) so don't go a14-a1 (even if you stick to the a14 to get on the a1 that bit of the a14 is always f**ked, especially on a friday afternoon)
the m11 is now open from the accident but seems to be shut again from a spillage, so possibly won't be shut for much longer...
