Steve Govier and Paul Cheesely
He was a centre back who came up through the youth system. He partnered Andy Rollings in the reserves and made a few first team appearances. Both he and Rollings were sold to Brighton.
It was Paul Cheesely who scored his first goal for City against Chelsea on 20 December 1972. It didn't count as the fog rolled in and the match was abandoned.
He went on to Bristol City were he scored a hatfull of goals before getting injured and taking up rugby union
