What constitutes a Judas?

Mandy Arsehole, I can see why it's applicable there, player of the season ups sticks and joins the Filth, obvious.

But Earnshaw? Talented football who was never going to stay at City long term makes a move to the Premiership to the great surprise of no-one but the very dim. Why the vitriol?
