Fourth for me

Spurs' problem is they've very soft centred. Robinson isn't good enough; they have good but essentially footballing defenders (where's the real rock at the back?), have a lot of skill in midfield and attack, but little bite and can be very erratic in front of goal.

So why 4th then? Well, I felt over the last dozen or so games of last season, they finally started playing to their potential, scoring tons of goals and winning lots of games. They were knocked sideways by losing Carrick last summer, but finally seemed to be gelling and moving on. This season is crunch time for them: the team will start breaking up if they don't make the CL.

But given all the problems Arsenal have had this summer, and that Spurs have a head start over other ambitious clubs likely to splash the cash (Newcastle, Villa, Man City, maybe Everton), this I reckon will be their year. The top four isn't set in stone; and the Gooners have looked vulnerable and inconsistent enough even with Henry over the past couple of years to suggest to me Spurs can, finally, break into the big time.
