I don't rate Doherty at all

but even at the end the end of last season when he was out injured we still kept conceding silly goals. What we have missed is the capacity to defend as a unit which we haven't had since Malky left, and a defensive midfielder to protect the back four, which we haven't had since Holt in the promotion season.
