Football is full of mercenaries and Norwich are a victim of that.
Not Doncaster's fault that we have to rely on clauses to bring players in. Norwich are a football club and not a company, but most players are businessmen who will use the smaller clubs as stepping stones. Sadly, we have to take as much of an advantage of that as they do to us and if we didn't sell him to Derby for the money we did, we wouldn't have sold him to anyone.
