I think you're right

But I would say that it may be in his best interests to move.

I for one won't lay into a player in a yellow shirt while he's on the park - that's what midweek is for. But no matter how well he plays or how long he stays, I will always remember his attitude problem in the second half of last season. At any level, you have to be able to rely on players to give it 100% no matter what, and he's proven that he can't be trusted to do that.
