I dont know if we'd NEED to sell him but...

he's already expressed that he wants to be in the Premiership and, although I think he owes us at least half a season after injuries last year, I think that IF we got two of those three in then he'd be more likely to go. At the end of last season I never thought he'd even consider leaving. I mean it was his agent who brought it all up, I don't THINK he did himself, I'm not sure.

Still noone knows exactly how much the new shareholders have contributed to the transfer kitty, and I still think we'll do most of our business BEFORE Earnie is allowed to leave, IF he does, purely so clubs cant unfairly inflate prices because they know we have say £5m from him.

So yeah, maybe they are paying for ALL the transfers, but do you really believe we're bidding for Sharp AND Eastwood if Earnie is going to stay?? No way in the world would they both come here if they knew only 2 of the 3 would be in the team, they'd come here to play most games and I don't believe Grant would be stupid enough to put all his eggs in one basket and have three amazing frontmen when we urgently need a bloody good centre back and central midfielder, especially with Safri buggering off to the African Nations cup again in January.
