I really hope not..

its nice to be a little bit isolated from the rest of the country, it keeps the areas character and helps preserve traditions.

In NZ because of the tiny poulation you find that people from different areas have stong links to the places they live and its good, bacause people have alittle bit more respect for the area.

So no motorway...no no.
