are you suggesting we aren't trying to sign players? As a bare minimum that we know about we have signed Otsemobor, had a bid accepted for Sharp and are clearly still pursuing Marshall.
We can't force clubs to sell players and we can't force players to sign for us. Why is it you feel obsessed by blaming someone? What more could we do?
Why don't you make a positive suggestion for once instead of all this empty whining? How many players did we sign in summer 2003 (and when)? Or how about summer 1992? It isn't that black and white. What matters is that you get the best players possible for the resources you havce to spend. That is at least 20 times more important than WHEN you get them.
Oh, and which Championship teams HAVE signed loads of players (since it is obviously that easy)?
