There is so much sepculation its hard to know what to believe

By all accounts he lives in Sheffield as do most of his family. He is a Blades fan though so not sure what the score is with him and a possible move to Wednesday.

I agree that if his heart is not in it we should not be pursuing it but he did not have to come and talk to us. It was said that he was going to use his time on holiday to consider his options and having come back he has now come and talked to us so he clearly cannot be that adverse to playing for us.

All in all i am considerably more optimistic that he may sign than I was 2 days ago but i suspect how Wolves get on in their nogotiatiosn fro Eastwood may be crucial. if Southend mess them about they may switch their attentions back to Sharp.
