Kenton previously had a loan spell at Leicester in the spring of 2005
Leicester City have placed defender Darren Kenton on the transfer list.

The 28-year-old has made 24 league and cup appearances for City since joining them from Southampton in June 2006.

Foxes boss Martin Allen has already transfer-listed Rab Douglas, Mark De Vries, Alan Maybury, Stephen Hughes and Elvis Hammond since his appointment.

"By informing him early, it should allow him an opportunity to start afresh with a new club going into pre-season," Allen told City's website.
