Haven't got one, but my mate has. "Come and have a go", he said, knowing that the last games console that I bought was a sega megadrive, "honest, even you can't fail to be impressed".

So I went. Yes, it's got to be better than those little gamepads. But I can confirm that you look a t**t when playing it.

Also, as I watched him energetically playing tennis, I couldn't help but chuckle at the graphics. He's standing there waving his arms and swinging from the waist, and what's happening on the screen? A Sampras-figure snarling and sweating? A Henman-figure gaily clenching his fist? No: a couple of smiling duplo figures toddling about.

Nope, I don't think computer games will ever wind my strings bu the Wii has potential. My daughter's Young Man keeps playing Xbox games at me and insisting I have a go. Fuck, that's boring, and I particularly hate the juddery-wrist thing. Completely unnecessary, just a bit of technology simply because they could do it IMHO.
