can;t be right
From the Kings Lynn website
Friday 8 June
This afternoon at 3:45 club chairman Ken Bobbins received a telephone call from the FA in London.
Ken was informed that it is a very strong possibility that by Tuesday of next week Scarborough FC may well go out of business.
It is therefore the FA's intention to move King's Lynn to the Unibond League to balance the numbers.
The club wishes to make clear to its supporters that it will be doing all it can to oppose this move and stay in the Southern League as already much work has been done in building next season's squad with southern based players.
However the final decision will be made by the FA and King's Lynn FC may well have little say as to what league we will start the 2007/08 season in.
We will keep all supporters updated on this most important matter.
If Scarborough drop to NCEP or NCE1 then King's Lynn will move from SLP to NPP, Wealdstone will move from ILP to SLP, Worthing will move from IL1S to ILP which obviates the need for a team to transfer from IL1S to IL1N and Ilford will be reprieved at step 4.
Non league is great isn;t it
