No, All Maps Welcome was pretty dire. I must have listened to it, what, twice?
A shame, because those are some of his finest songs on there, absolutely slaughtered by their production. The third album is Tom McRae trying desperately to make a sibling copy of Damien Rice's 'O', as his bitterness towards Rice's overnight success is well documented.
'King of Cards' is a return to form.
