Marshall-Definite Yes; Cureton-Not So Sure

Marshall would be an excellent signing, a very good keeper indeed; excellent football upbringing at Celtic, WANTS to play for us and has said so-that makes a change!-will be as good for us as Greeno was, possibly better. Only worry is, he see's us as a stepping stone but hey, if we sign him for £750'000 and end up selling him a year, eighteen months down the line for £4-5 Million, who's complaining, it'll mean he's done well for us and we'll have some cash.

Seemingly, Jamie Cureton wants to play for us as well-hmm, I don't know though. He's nearly 32, so is no long term signing-2 years at best?-and is one of those players who needs a good targetman/proverbial "big man" alongside him-which is why he did so well at Colchester alongside Iwelemo (sp!)-he didn't have that luxury at QPR (6 goals in 43 games) and Swindon (7 in 30) so he'll need it here & Martin is too similar a player, so maybe he and Brown would be, theoretically, the way PG would go? Not sure-depends on cost methinks, bet Colchester "demand" at least £1 million for him, which will be way, way too much.
