I think they'd have to agree a valuation of Harewood and Mullins I 'd think, or just agree a fee between themselves. I know this had happened before, but I can't for the life of me remember who the player was - I think the selling club had tried to do just that and realised it wouldn't work. The irony of a situation like that I suppose is that Charlton could end up paying Ipswich more than they actually receive for Bent...
