Dundee (h) - Dundee could have levelled matters 12 minutes later following an intricate move between Paul Dixon and player/manager Alex Rae. Rae played the ball to Dixon on the left and the fullback swept past two Accies challenges to return to favour to his boss. Rae broke into the box but his final shot was blocked by the home defence.
Brechin (a) - Dundee doubled their lead after 53 minutes with a simply breathtaking effort. Paul Dixon strode into the City half and from 30 yards the left back struck a superb swerving shot which hit the underside of the bar before rebounding off Craig Nelson’s back and into the net.
Ross County (h) - as the referee waved play on a long ball by Paul Dixon found Dyron Daal who got past Andy Dowie. Dowie tried to put in a challenge but slipped at the crucial point, with only Matteo Tomei to beat Daal, hit a low shot hard into the far corner of the net.

Hamilton (h) - MOM, Dixon - feel sorry for the lad; Paul Dixon - who would do well to keep his feet on the ground and continue to rise above it all , he's done well recently; Paul Dixon. Full of energy, good in the tackle and going forward. Best player 2 matches in a row. Keep it up Paul; Have to agree and go for young Paul Dixon. 2nd MOTM award for him from me too; Dixon BY A DIVISION,only Dee footballer on the park; Dixon by a distance. Good defensively, and was the only guy delivering the type of ball our strikers need.
