I'm not sure he's been that great this season...

He's only started about 16/17 games, scoring 3 goals and making 4 assists. I don't think the fact they are top of the league is down to him.

In previous seasons he's been great for them and he's done alright this year, but his form has hardly been out of this world.

I agree that there isn't much competition, but i'd rather we give the young guys a go as Beckham surely won't be considered when the next games come around.
