Like you said, they won't be playing all season and we shouldn't need them (if Sutton came) either, the core of the squad and the younger players should mean that they can be rested/benched if neccesary-but, away to Charlton on a Sunday afternoon, live on TV-thats the games they'll be needed in!

I am very encouraged by the range of players Grant is reportedly interested in-the lad at St Mirren is from the Ivory Coast, can you imagine Worthy even considering a player from Africa, it would be "...the lad won't settle..." and "...the weather will be too cold for him..."

I see Jason Scotland, who we were linked with, has gone to Swansea. At one point, it seemed as if he/his agent were almost begging us to make a bid-but he ends up there, fair enough, decent team, but maybe thats his level? If so, I hope we saw him/knew of him (Duffy maybe?) and realised he wasn't what we wanted. JCA, have we a scouting system now instead of just looking at videos?
